Without her, who would you be now? Perhaps a heartless, uncaring person "happily" devoid of an emotional center -- would you really want that? That little girl who suffered tremendously blossomed into an incredible human being. So maybe instead of "losing" her -- embrace her for the courageous soul she was -- but know that she finally got what she wanted -- which was simply to be loved. And then think of all the people who truly do love you for who you are.
